It all started with two friends and a chat between waves, surfing in the south-west of France. Let’s make a magazine about culture, art, music, local affairs and also the politics of the town of Olten, Switzerland. KOLT Magazine was born. For more than a decade it went on to be a platform for the local community, presenting what was going on every month in and around town, starting public discourse with well researched and written reportages, giving a voice to local artists and business people.
